Danny Cottage is a charming Grade II thatched cottage bought from the National Trust by Michael and Kitty Ann, long-time Alfriston residents. The cottage has been extensively and sympathetically restored and is furnished and equipped to the highest standard.

Danny Cottage can sleep up to six people in a twin room, large double room, and cosy adjoining single room with additional pull-out bed. Two bathrooms equipped with bathtubs, showers, wash basins, and toilets adjoin the bedrooms. The spacious sitting room contains original oak beams and a wood-burning stove. The dining area is tucked behind a 16th century cow stall. The large kitchen is equipped with the latest modern appliances tastefully built into old pine cabinets.

The cottage contains two TV sets, a video player, music centre, and a portable radio. It is fully centrally heated. A cot with bedding and a high-chair are available if required. Well behaved dogs are welcome.

There is a half-acre of garden tended weekly by a gardener. The small wood at the bottom of the grounds is home to abundant wildlife including pheasants and badgers.

A thatched garage and parking bay provide safe and convenient parking for up to four cars.
